Short Description
The term “diversity and inclusion” is used quite a bit recently, but do you know what inclusion means? Is it just about including people from different gender, race, sexual orientation & age?
“Diversity is being invited to the party; inclusion is being asked to dance.” – Verna Myers
In this interactive 90-120 minute workshop, we’ll dive deep into what inclusion really means, especially in a work environment, remote or not. It is far more than just ticking some boxes. We’ll explore some common considerations that people fail to realise, even after 2+ years of working from home during the pandemic. We’ll also learn what we can do to make people feel welcomed, accepted, respected, and valued. In the end, people feel empowered to contribute their own perspectives and understanding without the fear of rejection and humiliation.
